The rest of my home is mostly traditional with a bit of French style furniture. In my old house we had redone our kitchen and I had antique white cabinets with a glaze and a much lighter color granite and that's more my style. To me it's dated, and I feel that the cherry is dark (and too red) and the counters make them look darker. We moved into our house 6 months ago and I really don't like the cherry cabinets, backsplash and black granite countertops in our kitchen.
